What is it?

Chest medicine, also known as pulmonology, is a branch of medical science that includes medical conditions that affect the respiratory tract such as pneumonia, asthma etc. Chest medicine or respiratory medicine offers relief for all ailments of the respiratory tract.   • Interstitial and Occupational Lung Diseases are a group of diseases that cause the scarring of the tissues in the respiratory tract. It causes difficulty in breathing and reduces the amount of oxygen entering the bloodstream. Medications such as Corticosteroid, pirfenidone (Esbriet) etc. are used to treat this condition.
